Veo 3.1 Lite

Veo 3.1 Lite is Google DeepMind’s lighter Veo 3.1. Same generation as Veo 3.1, same native audio, fewer controls. Studio uses it for simple shots: B-roll, products, environments.

You give it a prompt, and optionally one still. Clips are 4, 6, or 8 seconds at 720p. 1080p is available at 8 seconds only. There is no last-frame interpolation, no 4K, and no clip-extend path. A negative prompt and a seed are available.

What it's good for

A single short cinematic shot with native sound, from text or from one image. It is the Veo look without a large reference setup. It will not extend a take, render 4K, or carry a stack of identity stills.
