Protoface (“Protoface,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is building generative AI technology. This Privacy Policy explains, in simple terms, what information we collect through our website, landing page, demos, waitlist, and platform.
Information We Collect
We may collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, company, role, demo request details, feedback, or any other information you choose to send us.
We may also automatically collect basic technical and usage information, including IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, pages viewed, referring pages, timestamps, approximate location, cookies, analytics identifiers, log data, and interactions with our website or platform.
If you use a Protoface demo, beta, or platform feature, we may process inputs and usage data needed to provide and improve the product, such as text, settings, prompts, session activity, performance data, avatar configuration, audio/video-related inputs, or other interaction data.
Website Analytics
On our public marketing website, advertising and optional third-party analytics tools remain off until you click Continue in our privacy banner. Choosing Reject, or making no choice, keeps those tools off during public browsing. Continue permits Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta, Reddit, OpenAI (ChatGPT Ads), Paved, and FirstPromoter to receive browser and device information, page visits, identifiers, and interactions for traffic measurement, advertising attribution, and marketing. You can change this choice using the Privacy Settings link in the public-site footer.
We remember your public-site choice for up to 180 days. Essential hosting, security, our own logs and attribution storage, and Framer built-in analytics remain active. We may retain campaign parameters, ad click identifiers, affiliate referral codes, landing pages, and referring sites first-party and carry them into account creation. When public-site measurement consent is granted, the OpenAI pixel uses first-party cookies: __oppref stores an ad attribution identifier for up to 30 days and __obref stores a random browser reference for up to 365 days. Rejecting measurement removes these OpenAI cookies. Browser settings may separately restrict storage or tracking.
Account Analytics and Conversion Reporting
By creating an account and accepting our Terms and Privacy Policy, you consent to Protoface and the analytics and advertising partners identified here collecting, receiving, and analyzing account-related technical information and events, including registration, use of the platform, checkout, and purchases. This account processing begins with successful account creation and continues when you sign in and use the platform. A public-site Reject choice applies to public browsing and does not disable this separately described account processing.
Account analytics and conversion reporting may include a hashed email address, account or event identifiers, IP address, browser and device information, campaign parameters, ad click identifiers, affiliate referral identifiers, and transaction values. We may associate previously stored first-party attribution with your account and share it with Google, Meta, Reddit, OpenAI (ChatGPT Ads), and FirstPromoter alongside account events to measure which campaigns or referrals led to registration or purchases. This does not replay your earlier public browsing activity to those partners.
We do not include prompts, conversation content, uploaded media, passwords, or free-form messages in advertising or analytics event payloads. Account identifiers, including hashed email addresses used for conversion matching, are handled as described above. Product inputs may still be processed by infrastructure and model providers as needed to deliver the Service.
Platform Monitoring
We may monitor, log, review, or analyze use of the Protoface platform for product operation, debugging, security, abuse prevention, quality improvement, support, and business analytics.
Do not submit confidential, sensitive, regulated, or third-party information unless you have the right to do so.

We may share information with service providers that help us run Protoface, such as hosting providers, analytics tools, infrastructure providers, email tools, logging tools, and security vendors.
We may also share information if required by law, to protect rights or safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets.
We do not sell personal information for money.
Retention
We keep information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, including to operate Protoface, improve the product, maintain records, resolve issues, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
Security
We use reasonable measures designed to protect information, but no website, platform, or internet transmission is completely secure.
Children
Protoface is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
