FastH3 is Protoface’s faster version of MiniMax H3. It is a 4-step distillation of that model, labeled Preview because the distill can still change. It generates video from a text prompt and returns native audio with the picture.
It is text-to-video only. There is no image-to-video path and no reference pack. Clips run from 4 to 15 seconds at 512p or 768p. There is no 1440p option.
The look is still MiniMax H3 — framing, motion, light — just sampled in fewer steps so drafts come back sooner.
What it's good for
Trying wording, camera language, and pacing before you commit to a slower H3 generate. It will not lock a character from stills or land on a last frame you supply. Those are outside what this distill was trained to do.
