Recraft V4.1 is Recraft’s design-oriented stills model. It generates raster images from a prompt, has a lighter utility generate, and can vectorize from a prompt. All three take a prompt and an image size: 1:1, 16:9, 9:16, 4:3, or 3:4, default 1:1.
Vectorize here is prompt-driven. You describe a mark and get paths, not an upload-a-JPEG-and-trace converter. There is no edit, upscale, or decompose operation.
The look leans graphic rather than photographic: marks, icons, flat illustration.
What it's good for
Logos, icon sets, spot illustration, and comps that will be finished in a drawing tool. If the output needs to open as editable geometry rather than a picture of geometry, vectorize is the reason this model exists.
