Uso
Uso creates images guided by the subjects and visual styles in supplied reference pictures. Those references inform identity or appearance as well as the look of the result. Optional written guidance describes the intended image, allowing a scene or composition to develop around the reference material.
Subject guidance and style guidance can work together. A recognizable subject can inform the content while another reference contributes its visual treatment. Uso also supports reference-driven creation without a written description, so the supplied imagery can establish the creative direction on its own.
What it's good for
Uso suits concept development around an established subject, including campaign imagery that draws on a recognizable appearance. Designers can explore how that subject reads in different artistic treatments or use an existing style to inform a different composition.
It is also useful for visual identity studies, where reference material communicates the intended look and text adds context for each proposed image.
