Eleven v3
Eleven v3 is ElevenLabs’ hosted text-to-speech. ElevenLabs is known for voices that sound like a person reading, not a machine. You pass a script and a voice id from their library. Alice is the default.
Stability defaults to 0.5: higher is a flatter, more consistent read; lower is more expressive. Similarity defaults to 1. Speaker boost is on. Most people never change the last two.
It turns text into speech. It does not restyle an existing recording, and it does not generate music.
What it's good for
Product VO, interface voice, and long reads that should sound like the same person every time. If you already picked an ElevenLabs voice and want that performer on a script, this is the model.
