Kling V4.0

Kling V4.0 combines text-based video creation with image animation and clip extension. A written description establishes a scene and its action, with synchronized stereo audio generated alongside the visuals.

For image animation, a supplied picture sets the opening composition. Intermediate images and an ending image can establish key visual moments, with generated movement connecting them. Extension takes an existing video’s final frame as its starting point and appends a continuation with accompanying sound. An optional target image guides the continuation’s ending.

What it's good for

Frame-guided animation suits storyboard development and product reveals where the opening composition and later visual beats are already designed. Text generation supports exploring a scene’s action and camera movement before those images are established.

Extension gives an existing shot room for another action beat or a continued camera move. These operations let a project develop from a written concept into image-directed footage, then continue a chosen shot.
