SAM 3D Body
SAM 3D Body produces a 3D human body asset from a photograph or screenshot. The image supplies the visual reference for reconstruction, connecting an existing depiction of a person to a body-focused 3D workflow.
An optional mask identifies the body region to process. This gives the reconstruction a clearer subject when the image contains several people or a busy background. It also helps define the intended body boundary where clothing and surrounding objects have similar colors.
What it's good for
Artists can use a reconstructed body as reference for spatial studies or early character development. Moving photographic reference into three dimensions can help with reviewing a person's form and pose during scene planning.
The same workflow suits teams developing body studies from selected footage frames or collected reference photographs. Mask-guided isolation makes it practical to work with a chosen person within a wider composition.
