SAM 3D Objects
SAM 3D Objects converts an image of an object into a 3D asset. The source image provides the visible shape and appearance for reconstruction, making product photographs and prop references useful starting material for further modeling.
Optional masks identify the object regions to process, helping separate the target from surrounding content. Text guidance can clarify the object's category, material or finish when the image leaves those details open to interpretation. Together, these inputs give artists ways to guide both subject selection and reconstruction.
What it's good for
Product designers can turn a photographed item into initial geometry for spatial review or visualization studies. Prop artists can use the resulting asset as a starting point for refinement within a scene-production workflow.
It also suits asset exploration from collected visual references. A mask can focus reconstruction on an item in a wider photograph, while text adds context about what that item represents.
